Eligible owner-occupiers may receive a point-of-sale solar discount through approved retailers, plus access to related loan products depending on the stream. Federal STCs still apply using Victoria's typical Zone 4 ratings (Melbourne metro). A 6.6kW STC line is about $1,235 at MrSolar's ~$39.85 spot reference (as of 5 August 2026) before Solar Homes adjustments.
Victoria has offered income-tested battery support that can sit beside federal usable-kWh discounts. Confirm whether your household meets both means tests and product eligibility. Do not let a salesperson assume stacking without a written eligibility check.
